Accessibility Statement
Last updated August 10, 2026
The Glass Patch is committed to making its website and studio information as welcoming and usable as reasonably possible for people with different abilities, devices, and ways of interacting with online content.
Website Accessibility
The Glass Patch works to support accessibility by using clear page structure, readable text, meaningful headings, descriptive links, alternative text for important images, visible form labels, keyboard-friendly navigation, and color contrast that supports readability.
The website is built and hosted through Wix and includes Wix Bookings, forms, payment tools, and other third-party features. Some parts of these services may be outside the direct control of The Glass Patch and may not perform equally with every assistive technology, browser, or device.
Known Limitations
Although ongoing efforts are made to improve accessibility, some limitations may remain. These may include:
-
Third-party booking, payment, form, map, social-media, or embedded content.
-
Older or legacy website pages and images that have not yet been fully updated.
-
PDFs, downloadable documents, or uploaded project materials that may not be fully optimized for every screen reader.
-
Decorative or complex stained-glass images that may be difficult to describe completely in short alternative text.
Physical Studio Accessibility
The Glass Patch is a working studio located in a private Indianapolis home. The primary stained-glass workspace is on the lower level and requires the use of stairs. Because of the building’s age and layout, the studio may not be physically accessible to every visitor or mobility device.
If you have a mobility, sensory, communication, health, or other access need, please contact Liz before booking.
The Glass Patch will discuss the studio layout, the requirements of the activity, and any reasonable options that may help you participate safely and comfortably. Not every activity or accommodation may be possible in the existing space, but questions are always welcome.
Studio Animals
Dogs and cats live on the property. If allergies, fear of animals, a service animal, or another access consideration may affect your visit, please contact Liz in advance so the situation and available arrangements can be discussed.
Need Assistance?
If you have difficulty accessing information, completing a form, making a reservation, or using another part of the website, please email liz@theglasspatch.com. When contacting The Glass Patch, it is helpful to include the page or feature involved, the device or browser you are using, and the type of assistance you need.
The Glass Patch will make a good-faith effort to provide the information in another reasonable format or help complete the requested task.
Feedback
Accessibility is an ongoing process.
Feedback about barriers, unclear content, or possible improvements is welcomed and may be sent to liz@theglasspatch.com.
Changes to This Statement
This Accessibility Statement may be updated as the website, studio, services, or available accessibility features change. The current version and its last-updated date will be posted on this page.
