Class Waiver

I understand The Glass Patch studio is located in the basement of a private residence and requires descending ten (10) steps. Accommodations can be made for mobility concerns if requested in advance.*

I agree to wear closed-toe shoes and natural fiber clothing (cotton, linen, wool, or denim), or to use a provided apron. I understand that synthetic fabrics can melt if exposed to hot solder, and natural fibers offer better protection.*

I understand that safety equipment (safety glasses, gloves, aprons, and masks) is available and encouraged. I acknowledge that stained glass work involves risks such as cuts, burns, and exposure to lead and other chemicals, and I voluntarily assume these risks.*

I acknowledge that I will adhere to all instructions provided by the instructor. I understand that The Glass Patch and its instructors shall not be held liable for any incidents resulting from my actions.*

I understand that small dogs and cats live at the premises and may visit the studio during class. If I prefer not to have animals present, I agree to notify The Glass Patch by email or text before my scheduled class so accommodations can be made to keep them separate for my comfort.*

I understand that The Glass Patch uses a security camera system that records video during classes for safety, quality assurance, and incident documentation. Recordings are stored for up to 24 hours and are automatically deleted unless an incident requires longer retention. I acknowledge that my participation in class constitutes consent to this recording and limited retention policy.*

I understand that this waiver will be kept on file for one year and applies to all classes I attend during that time.*
