We're so glad you've chosen to spend time creating with us. Stained glass is a rewarding craft that blends artistry with hands-on technique. While we take every step to make your experience safe and enjoyable, working with glass and tools does involve certain risks. This waiver is designed to ensure you're informed, protected, and ready to dive into the creative process with confidence. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and welcoming studio environment.

Family-Friendly Note

We welcome makers age 12 and above. For safety, anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign this waiver, and an adult must remain present with them during class. This ensures everyone can enjoy the creative process while staying safe.

I understand The Glass Patch studio is located in the basement of a private residence and requires descending ten (10) steps. Accommodations can be made for mobility concerns if requested in advance.

I agree to wear closed-toe shoes and natural fiber clothing (cotton, linen, wool, or denim) during class.

I understand that safety equipment (safety glasses, gloves, aprons, and masks) is available and encouraged. I acknowledge that stained glass work involves risks such as cuts, burns, and exposure to lead and other chemicals, and I voluntarily assume these risks.

I acknowledge that I will adhere to all instructions provided by the instructor. I understand that The Glass Patch and its instructors shall not be held liable for any incidents resulting from my actions.

I understand that this waiver will be kept on file for one year and applies to all classes I attend during that time.

Media Release

The Glass Patch would like to share pictures or videos of your work at the studio. Please indicate your preference.
