Create Your Own Path
Once you know the stained-glass process, you do not always need another class. Sometimes you need time, space, tools, materials, or a little help getting unstuck.
Continue Creating is designed for makers who are ready to choose their own projects and work with greater independence while still having access to The Glass Patch when they need it.
You can book a guided Panel Workshop, use a Maker Pass for independent work, schedule Finishing Time to complete a class project, or reserve focused help for a specific challenge.
Note: If you are booking with a friend and need different level panel workshops, contact Liz and she will help set up the booking, so you can continue to create together.
Panel Workshops
Choose a project that fits your experience, your available time, and the level of challenge you are ready to take on.
Panel Workshops include guided studio time, standard glass, regular studio consumables, and hobby or zinc came needed for the agreed project.
Premium or featured glass, specialty findings, and additional Finishing Time are available separately when needed.

Small Panel Workshop
$95 per person • 2 hours of guided studio time • Up to 8 pieces
A compact project for makers who want to keep creating without committing to a longer studio session. This is a good fit for a smaller design, a quick next project, or a chance to practice the full process with guidance available when needed.
Prerequisite: The Art of Stained Glass – An Introduction, Suncatcher Workshop, or approved prior experience.
Standard Panel Workshop
$150 per person • 4 hours of guided studio time • 9–16 pieces
A flexible option for makers ready to take on a more substantial project while continuing to build confidence and independence.
Choose an approved pattern, select your glass, and work through the process with support available throughout the session.
Prerequisite: The Art of Stained Glass – An Introduction, Small Panel Workshop, or approved prior experience.
Large Panel Workshop
$195 per person • 6 hours of guided studio time • 17–24 pieces
For larger projects that need more time for planning, cutting, shaping, assembly, and finishing.
This workshop is usually divided across two sessions, giving you time to work carefully without rushing the process. Depending on the project, some foiling may be completed between sessions.
Prerequisite: The Art of Stained Glass – An Introduction, Small Panel Workshop, or approved prior experience.
Extended Panel Workshop
$250 per person • 8 hours of guided studio time • 25–32 pieces
The largest guided Panel Workshop at The Glass Patch.
Extended projects are typically divided across two sessions so you have time to work carefully without rushing the process. Depending on the project, some foiling may be completed between sessions.
Prerequisite: The Art of Stained Glass – An Introduction, Small Panel Workshop, or approved prior experience.
Finishing Time
$20 per hour
Finishing Time gives current students additional studio time, continued instruction, and access to the tools and materials needed to complete an active Glass Patch class project.
Finishing Time is scheduled by appointment and is only available for projects begun as part of a Glass Patch class or workshop.
Materials required to complete the originally agreed project are included.
Project changes, upgrades, and additional or specialty materials may be priced separately.
Open Studio
$60 for a two-hour session
Open Studio is designed for makers who have the experience to work independently but may not have the space, tools, or equipment they need at home or would like to create in the company of other makers.
Bring your current stained-glass project and settle in for a creative making session at the Patch.
Open Studio includes access to the Patch Pantry and studio tools and equipment.
Occasional questions are welcome, but if you need focused help or troubleshooting, Project Support is the better fit.
Maker Passes
Your project. Your pace.
Maker Passes are for makers who already understand the stained-glass process and want discounted access to a dedicated workspace, studio tools, and the Patch Pantry during Open Studio hours.
Come with a project in mind and use the studio resources to keep it moving.
You’ll have access to shared tools, grinders, cutting systems, and the Patch Pantry, including color-sorted glass offcuts and regular studio consumables. Shelf glass, solder, hobby came, zinc, and other project materials are available separately, if needed.
Maker Passes are for independent work time rather than guided instruction. Occasional questions are welcome, but if you need focused help or troubleshooting, Project Support is the better fit.

Maker Passes are to be scheduled during Open Studio hours below or by arrangement. When scheduling Open Studio hours, your Maker Pass credits will be deducted as payment.
Project Support
$35 • 1 hour
Stuck on something?
Project Support is focused one-on-one help for a specific challenge, technique, or decision.
Bring your project, pattern, or problem and we’ll work through it together. This can include troubleshooting fit, structure, soldering, finishing, pattern questions, or simply figuring out the best next step.
Projects do not need to have started at The Glass Patch.
Ring Saw Time
$15 • 30 minutes
$25 • 60 minutes
Already know how to use a ring saw but do not have one at home?
Reserve time to use the studio ring saw for cutting your own project pieces when you don't have a saw at home.
A 30-minute minimum applies.
Ring Saw Time is for independent use rather than instruction. If you want to learn the tool first, start with the Ring Saw Exploration session under Build Your Skills.
